HEALTH AND WELLNESS GRANT APPLICATION

INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you for your interest in receiving a grant from The Ministering Circle this year. The Ministering Circle was founded in 1888 by a small group of women dedicated to the principle of service to others.

Today, The Ministering Circle continues with the founders’ principles and encompasses the funding of scholarships, programs and projects related to promoting the health and wellness of the community.

The information below provides the qualifications and requirements for organizations to submit an application.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

1.The applicant must be a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization as defined by section 501c3 of the IRS code; a copy of the IRS Tax Exemption letter must be submitted with the application.

2. The goals of the project/program must benefit the health and welfare of the community. 

3. Beneficiaries of project/program must be residents of New Hanover County, Pender County and/or Brunswick Counties

Application Process: 

To be considered for a grant, the Completed and Signed Ministering Circle Grant Application and required documentation must be received no later than January 8, 2026

All required documents must be uploading with this online application and simultaneously submitted with the application. These are the required documents:

  1. Copy of the 501c3 tax exemption letter

  2. Organization’s Board of Directors

  3. Organization’s current budget and proposed project/program budget
